  1. This is my port of the GNU TermCap distribution, version 1.0.  It
  2. was compiled with GCC 2.1 for the ST, and PatchLevel 79 of the
  3. GNU libraries.

  5. The port consisted mainly of hacking the configur shell script so
  6. that it called rm.ttp and sed.ttp instead of rm and sed.  That
  7. caused it to run successfully.  I then hacked a couple of things
  8. in the makefile, notably changing the targed libtermcap.a to
  9. termcap.olb, per the standards set by the people who set up GNU C
  10. for the ST.

  12. I ran make, and then I wrote this readme file.

  14. I didn't do anything about producing the .info files from
  15. termcap.tex.  I don't use Info that much, and I had neither
  16. MakeInfo not GNUEmacs laying around.  If you know how to use
  17. Info, you probably have the tools to create the files yourself.
